I really like this head package on a few different engine combos. A popular question we get asked is what is better between this head and the bowtie vortec? The advantages with this head is that it peforms very well when ported and it is very light for a cast iron head. This head is acheaper option as well. When used on a 383ci or smaller 2 Barrel Engine, this head is hard to beat!
We offer this head as a dedicated part number (Head package used on our Crate Killer Engine) or as a custom build. This gives you the opportunity to customize the head to your exact needs if you want something different than our direct part number. We also give you the option to use new or used castings.
